Scottish and English hotel appointments

oliver%20lesnikThe grand Gleneagles hotel in Perthshire, Scotland, has announced the appointment of two new regional sales managers.

After 20 years experience in the travel and tourism industry, including a spell as Sales Development Manager for a leading hotel group, Clare Simmons has joined the luxury hotel and is responsible for sales in London and South West England.

Responsible for tour operators and the European meetings and incentives market, is Graham Hesketh, who has recently relocated to Scotland after extensive experience working for a ski operator and golf tour operator.

Back in England, the Langtry’s restaurant at the Cadogan hotel in Knightsbridge has announced a change of their Head Chef. Oliver Lesnik (pictured right) has previously worked with the likes of Angela Hartnett and Jean-Christophe Novelli at the Connaught and Auberge du Lac respectively, as well as gaining experience at Petrus and Gordon Ramsay at Claridge’s.

The Dorchester has also made changes high up the structure, with the appointment of Roland Fasel as the new General Manager and UK Regional Director for the Dorchester Collection. Fasel joins the London hotel from the InterContinental London Park Lane, where he was GM for four years. In his new role, Fasel will be responsible for the 250-room hotel and a team of around 600 employees.
