Montilla PX roadshow to finish in Bristol
Spanish wine expert John Radford will end this year's Montilla PX regional trade tasting series with a tutored tasting at Hotel du Vin in Bristol.
The tasting for sommeliers, independent restaurateurs and retailers, will showcase a selection of sweet Pedro Ximénez wines from a range of producers from 11am to 3.30pm on September 29.
Bristol is the fourth city to host this year's tasting series which aims to raise the profile of the Spanish wines as an alternative to more widely known dessert wines.
Francisco Casas, spokesperson for the Montilla PX campaign said: “Following the enthusiasm that was shown at our regional PX tastings in London, Leeds and Edinburgh, we are excited to see how our wines will appeal to palates in the West and South West.
"We are confident that Montilla PX has a place in the UK on- and off-trade as an alternative to more widely known sweet and fortified wines. We hope that leading gourmets and fine wine connoisseurs around the UK will soon have the opportunity to find our wines in their local fine wine shops and restaurants.”
Places for John Radford’s tutorials will be allocated on a first come first served basis and need to be booked through Focus PR. Call 020 7845 6600 or email montilla@focuspr.co.uk.
