Latest GO Technology Report: UK Consumers Hungry to Track Home Delivery

The latest GO Technology report shows voice based ordering and food tracking devices are believed to be the next big thing to influence the UK’s fast growing food delivery market.

The quarterly GO Technology report from Zonal and CGA, which tracks the technology habits of 5,000 UK consumers, found that almost a third (33%) of consumers, as soon as they hit the order button, want to know the exact delivery time and this is where GPS tracking technology can be part of the solution. Likewise, with Artificial Intelligence being an integral part of our home life, thanks to devices such as Siri or Alexa, voice-based ordering is also likely to take off, with a fifth (22%) of consumers thinking it will become more common.
The GO Technology report also indicates that food delivery is booming in the UK, and all the signs are that it will continue to do so.
