What is WorldHost™?
WorldHost is a world-class training programme developed by the Province of British Columbia in Canada and successfully used to train 1 million people worldwide, including 39,000 volunteers and tourism staff at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.
WorldHost has been adapted by People 1st, the sector skills council for hospitality, passenger transport, travel and tourism, for the UK market. The various workshops covered by the programme: Principles of Customer Service, Customers with Disabilities, Service Across Cultures and the Ambassador Workshop - particularly designed for volunteers assisting visitors to our country – will provide your employees with all the necessary tools to offer excellent customer service.
