Time Out's shortlist for London Eating and Drinking Awards 2007
Time Out has announced its shortlist for the London Eating and Drinking Awards 2007. The awards, now in their 18th year have 10 categories including the new Best British Restaurant, Best British Traiteur and Best Coffee Bar.
Time Out’s restaurant critic Guy Dimond chaired the judging panel which picked the shortlists. They will now visit all of the shortlisted restaurants anonymously before the winners are announced at a ceremony on September 17. Competing for the title of Leffe Best New Restaurant are: Barrafina, W1; Odette’s, NW1; Oliviomare, SW1; St Alban, SW1 and Wild Honey W1. Up for Best British are Empress of India, E9; Geales, W8; Great Queen Street, WC2; National Dining Rooms, WC2 or Magdalen, SE1, while in the running for Best Gastropub are Brown Dog, SW13; Narrow, E14; Roebuck, W4; The Rosendale, SE21 and Waterfront, SW18.
