Charles Campion's London Restaurant Guide 2008 has been released featuring more than 400 London venues visited and reviewed by the food writer.

At the book launch this month, Campion handed out tongue-incheek awards, where the hottest food in town went to Bar Shu, W1, and the best presented glass of chilled Tio Pepe (the book's sponsor) was won by Moro, EC1, while Acorn House, WC1 was noted for worrying about the planet.

Quaglino's, SW1, received an accolade for making the now defunct ashtray into an art form, Arbutus, W1, was namechecked for the most offal on a menu and the Dorchester Grill, W1, took campest décor in town.
