France's Fabrice Desvignes won the 2007 Bocuse d'Or competition held at the Sirha International Hotel Catering and Food trade exhibition at Lyon-Eurexpo at the 20th anniversary of the bi-annual prize.

The UK's Andre Garrett. Head Chef of the Orrery, came tenth out of 24 chefs from 24 countries, a better result than 2005 when Eyck Zimmer came 17th out of 24.

President/Founder Paul Bocuse and Heston Blumenthal, President of Honour, attended the event.

Desvignes won the gold Bocuse d'Or trophy created in the image of Bocuse and €20,000; Rasmus Kofoed, representing Denmark, won second prize of a silver trophy and €15,000; and in third place was Frank Giovannini from Switzerland, who won the bronze trophy and €10,000.
