WHO? | Sue Hawkins, former proprietor of the Fox and Goose Inn in Armscote, has transformed a rundown old coaching inn in Shipston-on-Stour into a 16-room boutique hotel with restaurant. Head Chef Richard Tustian is fresh from Quarto's Restaurant at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon. Manager Rachel Hawkins, niece of the proprietor, was also at the Fox and Goose.

and sandblasted original floorboards.
