The Real Eating Company has signed an agreement with Steamer Trading Cook Shops to open concession cafés in its 13 shops. It has already opened in Horsham, West Sussex, with four more to open in the next six months.
The company's first restaurant and deli opened in Hove in 2003, serving seasonal British food. The second, in Lewes, has taken on Darren Velvick, former Head Chef at Petrus, to be Head Chef.
The Real Eating Company is also "conducting an aggressive property search for high quality sites in prime and secondary locations in affluent towns and cities in the South East", such as Tunbridge Wells, Chichester, Guildford and Richmond.
