The winners of The Perfect Meal 2007 competition, part of the launch of Sud de France, were announced at an awards ceremony in Le Cercle, Belgravia. Eric Chavot of The Capital won the first course prize with a Smoked Haddock Salad.

Perfect second course went to Pascal Aussignac of Club Gascon for his Chaus- Froid of Truffle and Foie Gras. The winning main dish was Canard Rôti à La Broche from La Noisette's Bjorn van der Horst while Crêpe Soufflé with Citrus Fruit Chutney from Alain Losbar of the Novotel London West was selected as the dessert winner.

All entrants had to devise a four course meal to complement the wines of the South of France.
