WHO? - The brand new Vegas-style casino on Leicester Square in London – in the old Empire ballroom - has already caused a stir with its flash opening party, but don't overlook its two new second floor restaurants: Fu Lu Shou, a pan- Asian noodle bar, and Flame, a classic grill restaurant. The project – a gaming, drinking and dining experience under one roof – is from London Clubs International, the team behind member's club and casino Fifty and Manchester 235 in Manchester. There's also an ice creamery on the second floor called Mocha.
ON THE MENU? - Tiger Prawn Gyoza, Lemon Grass Chicken Salad, and Pandan Ice Cream at Fu Lu Shou. And at Flame: Sweetcorn Chowder with Fresh Crab, USDA Prime Rib Eye; Classic Caesar Salad, and Peach and Pecan Nut Springroll.
STYLE? - Flame is a contemporary bar and grill fitted out in black marble and dark mahogany tables. FuLuShou is an intimate oriental scene, decorated with lounge booth seatings and original wall hangings, with an open kitchen at centre stage. The building has been designed by the Paul Steelman Design Group.
