Three new restaurant sites have been signed at Mermaid Quay on Cardiff's waterfront. Strada, Café Rouge and Garçon! join a further 20-plus restaurants, cafes and bars in the 150,000 sq ft retail and leisure scheme.
Café Rouge has just opened a 4,264 sq ft waterfront unit over the ground and first floors. The Strada will be the first of the chain in Wales when it opens later this month and will be in a 3,200 sq ft unit overlooking the quayside.
Garçon! is a new French brasserie concept which Cardiff restaurateurs Peter Dewey and Francis Dupuy plan to roll-out as a chain. Letting agents for Mermaid Quay are Reid Rose Gregory, King Sturge and Philip Hughes Davies.
