WHO? | Arjun Waney, principal owner of Zuma and Roka restaurants brings La Petite Maison – the Côte d'Azur hangout beloved of A-list celebrities like Liz Hurley, Bono and Elton John - to Mayfair, on the former site of Teca. Head Chef Raphael Duntoye, formerly at Zuma, interprets the sunny French Mediterranean cuisine of the Nice original for a London audience.

Sommelier Nobuko Okamura offers a predominantly French wine list including a dozen rosé wines from Provence.

The Restaurant will be managed by Francesco Mattioli who has worked at Le Caprice and the Walnut Tree.

ON THE MENU? | Warm Prawns with Olive Oil; Pissaladière with Caramelised Onions and Smoked Anchovies; Seabass in Salt Crust with Girolles, Fried Artichokes and Tomatoes; Pistachio Soufflé; Seasonal Mediterranean Fruit Sorbets.

STYLE? | With the original Nice restaurant in mind, designer David D'Almada translates it to the Mayfair restaurant with rich red banquette style seating with dark floors, light wood panels and a selection of antique mirrors. There is plenty of natural light to create a spacious feel.

SIZE? | 80 covers SPEND PER HEAD? | £50-£60 WINE LIST? | From £19 to £325 WHERE? | 54 Brooks Mews, London W1, 020 7495 4774
