TV chef Jamies song about curry becomes a worldwide radio smash hit.

A novelty song that Jamie Oliver performed at the end of cooking shows in America and Australia has become a radio hit around the world.

Give It To Me Hot (Lamb Curry), a lyrical version of a recipe, has made him a star in Thailand, Singapore and the Czech Republic and attracted more than 150,000 hits on YouTube.

The song was penned by Jamie`s childhood friend Leigh Haggerwood, 33, for the finale of Jamie`s 2003 cookery roadshow.

The chef sang it while cooking the curry recipe and timed it to end when he finished the dish.

A couple of lines go: "Got my friend ginger just give him a peel, It`s so damn juicy, the flavour is unreal."

Leigh said: "It`s incredible that this has made him famous with people who don`t know he is a cook. We have talked about doing a singing recipe album."
