Fat Duck to Axe a la carte
Heston Blumenthal reveals two tasting menus will replace the a la carte option at his three Michelin star restaurant in Bray, including a new historic British tasting menu.

IF YOU want to eat a la carte at the three Michelin star Fat Duck in Bray, you`d better hurry.

The restaurant`s owner Heston Blumenthal has revealed that from May there will be two tasting menus - the current one and a new historic British menu that will replace the al la carte option.

Despite Blumenthal`s reputation for experimental, avant-garde cuisine, he has long been interested in traditional British cuisine, and has worked closely with the Tudor kitchen at Hampton Court Palace with the aim of reintroducing dishes that have not appeared on British menus for over 500 years.

Some of these dishes already appear on the menu at his hotel in Bray, The Hinds Head.
