TOP chef and consultant Paul Heathcote has opened a new restaurant in Leeds.
The restaurant is the eighth site in Heathcote’s acclaimed Olive Press portfolio, and is his 15th site, all of which are located in the North West.
The £250,000 site on Water Lane has a new menu and unique wine list, and also features a theatre-style kitchen.
Heathcote, who spent twelve years under the tutelage of Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir aux Quat` Saisons, focuses on fresh and locally produced ingredients, which his chefs will use to create an innovative range of Italian favourites..
“Olive Press restaurants have been extremely successful and we feel that the flexible diversity of an Olive Press offering is ideal to meet the needs of the surrounding area of the Granary Wharf” said Heathcote.
“This restaurant is perfectly located over-looking the canal and we can offer something for everybody with our diverse menu from a quick lunch or alternatively somewhere relaxing to enjoy an evening meal.”
The Olive Press was voted the 9th best value restaurant in the UK by The Independent magazine.
