CONRAD hotels are launching what they are calling the world’s first ever bespoke bar menu - cocktail service ‘Conradtini’- in all of its hotels and resorts in 2008.
The concept is designed to allow customers to create their perfect cocktail from a selection of ingredients, tailor made by each hotel according to the preferences and customs of their particular locality.
Guests will be able to create cocktails in the glass of their choice, with all sorts of kind of garnish, and even try their hand at being mixologists themselves.
Edible flowers, apricot nectar, egg yolk, pickle, coconut shavings and rangali’s palm leaves are just a few of the ingredients people will be able to try, though they’re possibly not all recommended in the same drink.
Richard Blamey, Senior Vice President Brand Management, Conrad Hotels & Resorts is quoted on 4hoteliers.com saying: "At Conrad we`re always looking for ways to extend our commitment to providing options and personalised luxury experiences for our guests.
"This new bar concept, which we believe is the first of its kind, along with many of our ongoing initiatives, celebrates each guests` individual preferences.
"We want everyone to feel comfortable ordering their cocktails the way they enjoy them most."
