Luxury hotel brand Hard Rock Hotels has announced a $2billion expansion programme in Europe.
Speaking at the International Hotel Investment Forum in Berlin, chief hotels officer Trevor Horwell said: "Agents are a key business source and we`ll be looking to forge strong partnerships with UK agencies."
He said that established hotels with a strong offering can fight their own way through the economic downturn.
"Lots of people are trying to develop hotel projects, which is difficult in the credit crunch," he said.
