Eight New Restaurants at Clarence Dock

The Clarence Dock development by the waterfront in Leeds is set to open with eight new restaurants, including Cafe Aagrah, the Tiggis and The Roast.

THE Clarence Dock development in Leeds is set to open with eight new restaurants, including a Pizza Express and Cafe Aagrah.

They will be joined at the site by Starbucks, the Tiggis, Mumtaz and The Roast.

The site`s developers have also revealed that London Clubs International will be opening a £15m casino at Clarence Dock – complete with slot machines and electronic gaming as well as two restaurants, five bars, a cinema and a card room.

Simon Kidd, commercial lettings director at Clarence Dock, said: "We are delighted to announce these new signings and as the venues open over the coming months they will add a totally new dimension to Clarence Dock.

"Already the waterside destination is alive with activity born out of the successful completion and occupation of 1,100 luxury apartments on site.

"Tesco Express, which opened in January, has confirmed that it is already 30 per cent above trading predictions which is testament to the captive audience along the city`s waterfront."
