THE HOTEL made famous by the 1983 movie Local Hero is to get new owners.

Sue Johnson is to become the landlady of the Pennan Inn, the only hotel in the Aberdeenshire village.

The hotel had been on the market since last April and had been closed since the summer, when mudslides swamped the area.
