New Burger King Chain
BURGER King has unveiled plans for a new restaurant concept.
The downsized version of its normal outlet is paradoxically called the Whopper Bar, and is to offer diners burgers made to their own specifications.
The idea is to provide a more hip and interactive version of the worldwide phenomenon Burger King, in locations such as airports and casinos where a full sized regular outlet is less feasible.
The restaurants will have a more rustic look than the current colourful plastic lands, with images of fires, wood and exposed brick.
The kitchen will be visible to the customers, and will prepare ten different kinds of the chains signature ‘Whopper’ burgers.
The company has yet to settle on the first sites location, but has said it is looking to open the first outlet by the end of the year given the right franchisee interest.
