A possible sale of the Massive Pub Company is said to be on the cards with the help of Bar Room Bar directors

BAR Room Bar directors Tony and Ross Sanders are overseeing the sale of the Massive Pub Company.

A possible deal involving private equity firm Bridgewater purchasing all 33 of the Massive sites currently in administration is said to be on the table.

Swallet Management was previously the frontrunner, but the deal fell through after it was unable to complete on its £9 million offer according to reports in the M&C report.

Tony and Ross Sanders, who bought Bar Room Bar from the Orchid Group for £20 million, are said to be involved in the deal in a solely advisory capacity.

The 33 Massive sites turned over £20.2 million in the 2007 financial year, a figure which is expected to rise to £20.6 million this year.

The 33 units include the Auberge English pub and French restaurant chain, the Top sports bars and Thomas & Carter gastropub venues.
