The Massive Pub Companys sites in administration have exchanged contracts with buyer Bridgehouse Capital

THE MASSIVE Pub Company has exchanged contracts and is selling over 30 sites to Innventive Pubs, a subsidiary of private equity company Bridgehouse Capital.

Massive, which has 33 sites in administration, has faced several attempted sales falling through.

The deal, which is thought to be worth £8 million, includes Auberge English pubs, the French restaurant chain, Tup sports bars and Thomas &Carter gastropubs.

The 33 sites had a turnover of £20.2 million in the last financial year, 14 of them are Unique leases, a couple are leased through Scottish & Newcastle, one is a Punch pub and the remaining 16 are free-of-tie leases.

Bar Room Bar directors Tony and Ross Sanders advised on the deal. Previous potential buyer Swallet Management Solutions had been unable to complete on its offer.
