The Cheval Group has completed a multi-million pound refurbishment of its Kensington-based serviced apartments Hyde Park Gate.
More than three years have been spent restoring the 144-year-old apartments to their former glory. They were last redecorated in 1991.
Country house hotel interior designer Elizabeth Chetwynd-Talbot was called in to design the interiors of the 10 three bedroom and five two bedroom apartments, which have been given a classic English look, but with state-of-the art lifestyle technology such as widescreen TVs and wireless broadband.
Security has also been improved as part of the refurbishment. The video entry phone security has been upgraded and CCTV and panic alarms have been installed in every apartment.
General Manager Malcolm Broadbent said: “The apartments at Hyde Park Gate offer the very highest standards in accommodation. Our refurbishment ensures that Hyde Park Gate maintains its leading position and will continue to provide the very best in luxurious design, technology and top level security for years to come.”
Apartments must be booked out for a minimum of three months at a cost of between £1,325 and £4,750 per week.
