Both von Essen in Cliveden, Berkshire, and Best Western’s The Connaught Hotel in Bournemouth, have appointed new managers to oversee dining facilities.
Joining Cliveden’s new generation of young management is 20 year-old Sam Morris, who joins the country manor hotel as Conference and Banqueting manager, from his previous post of the same title at the Lincoln Hotel, Lincoln. Johan Brouckaert, Food and Beverage Manager at Cliveden, said: “We are investing in our future and Sam is a rising star in the food and beverage world”.
Meanwhile, Blake’s at the Connaught welcomes new Restaurant Manager, Nick Rutigliano, who takes on the post after serving 30 years in the same position at Bournemouth’s East Anglia Hotel. The restaurant was awarded an AA rosette in 2006, while the hotel itself was a finalist in the Bournemouth Tourism Awards 2007.
