Hobart are holding Vegetable Preparation Unit masterclasses at their Peterborough innovation centre, to demonstrate their efficient and time-saving capabilities.
The classes will teach chefs and caterers how they can get the most out of the device, by demonstrating the unit’s many functions. The two-speed VPUs are equipped with two fine cut slicers, a grater plate, a standard slicer, a dicing plate, a julienne plate and two wall racks, and can get through 5kg of food per minute. It is also suitable for chopping, grating, shredding or dicing bread and cheese, as well as fruit and vegetables.
Hobart will also be giving away a VPU6, worth £2,000, at the 2008 LACA Conference on 10 and 11 July at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
