Welsh sea salt company, Halen Mon, have launched a premium alternative to table salt sachets.
The small, flaked sea salt packets recently won an accolade in the True Taste Wales Food & Drink Awards, and have been specifically designed with gastro pubs and ‘posh’ fish and chip shops in mind.
The renowned salt is used by top chefs all over the world, and the smoked variety is used in an ice cream by Gordon Ramsay`s The London restaurant in New York.
The sachets are “the culmination of many years work in sourcing a company able and willing to pack our Halen Mtn sea salt flakes without compromising their appearance or quality,” said Alison Lee-Wilson, producer of Halen Mon sachets. “We are delighted with the look of this new way of presenting our award winning sea salt and are confident that it will find many applications."
The product is also highly recommended for use as a rub or finishing salt, and also for salads.
