London's best to battle it out for title

Eight London-based chefs will battle it out for the London Chef of the Year title at the competitions final tomorrow.

Eight London-based chefs will battle it out for the London Chef of the Year title at the competition`s final tomorrow. 

The competition, run by Westminster Kingsway College, is now in its second year and is open to any chef working in or around the London area. 

A panel of judges will give their verdicts on a three-course menu and amuse bouche chosen and cooked for them by each of the finalists to determine the winner, who wins two weeks work experience in a top restaurant in Dubai.  

The finalists are Jacek Macienko  of Harrods, Simon Webb  of Restaurant Associates, Miranda Godfrey from Westminster Kingsway College, Steven Walpole of Gate Gourmet, Ben Ford of Eurest British Airways Waterside, David Bush from The House of Commons, Sujan Sarkar  Automat Restaurant and Scott Cousins of KPMG
