As of today, London diners are able to vote for their favourite restaurant in the Evening Standard ’60 under £60’ category in the 2008 London Restaurant Awards.
A panel of judges, including The Times’ Giles Coren, London Restaurant Guide author Charles Campion and the Evening Standard’s Fay Maschler, have chosen a shortlist of local restaurants where two people can enjoy a two-course meal and bottle of house wine for under £60.
Amongst the shortlist of 60 is Gordon Ramsay’s Gastropub, The Narrow, Alan Yau’s Cha Cha Moon and Busaba Eathai, and Japanese restaurant Bincho Yakitori.
Voting will last for five weeks, with the winner being announced at the awards ceremony on 1 September.
Diners can log onto www.standard.co.uk/60 to cast their vote.
