The British Hospitality Association has awarded six individuals and organisations for their outstanding contribution to the industry.
The awards for achievement in food, training, tourism and environment were presented to the winners at the BHA’s luncheon at London’s Grosvenor House this week.
Lakeside Hotel and Restaurant, Cumbria, won the small business food category award for setting an industry example in sourcing local produce for use in its restaurant.
Milsom Hotels, Essex, won the tourism award for its investment in existing and new facilities throughout the group.
BaxterStorey was the winner of the training award for the launch of its Chef Academy and success in training and developing staff.
The three other winners included the Orchid Group in the large business food category, Sodexo for the Group environment award, and Acorn House Restaurant for Individual environment Award.
