Staff at the Holiday Inn in Brentford Lock are celebrating after scooping four awards in the hotel group`s Europe, Middle East and Africa Awards.
The 134-bedroom hotel was awarded Hotel of the Year for the entire region as well as 2007 Hotel of the Year in the UK by the Intercontinental Group.
General Manager Denzil Ratnam won the General Manager of the Year award for his strong motivational skills and the hotel also picked up the Distribution Marketing Award.
Ratnam said: “I have motivated and involved each member of my team and by having all staff on board we have achieved the 2007 Hotel of the Year Awards, which would have not been possible without them.
“Involving my team has inspired them to achieve consistent results and strive to achieve even greater results over the coming year.”
Kirk Kinsell IHG`s President EMEA said: "The EMEA Awards at IHG are a great opportunity to reward our top achievers in the region, and to get everyone together to celebrate the outstanding commitment made by each of our hotels. It is important that we recognise the teams that go that extra mile to create `Great Hotels Guests Love`."
IHG owns a number of hotel companies including Crowne Plaza and Hotel Indigo, which is due to open its first European hotel in London’s Paddington this summer.
