Premixed juices by US brand Stirrings to take the time, and fun, out of cocktail making

In a move to ‘revolutionise the cocktail culture across the UK’, American brand Stirrings have launched their range of mixers, syrups and Rimmers this side of the pond.

The products have been designed with the idea of alleviating both the pressure of time constraints when making a large amount of cocktails as well as any creativity involved, by supplying the non-alcoholic ingredients premixed in a bottle.

The Margherita mixer is made from lime juice and sugar, so all that’s needed is the tequila. The Mojito mixer consists of lime juice, cane sugar and mint oil, so all that needs adding is the rum and soda, and the spectacle of muddling the limes and clapping the mint leaves can be avoided.

Specialist cocktail bars aside, nightclubs and busy town centre bars may find the Stirrings​ range useful, cutting the time taken to put a drink together and therefore reducing the customer’s wait.

On the plus side, Stirrings have created a range that is free from artificial ingredients, flavours or preservatives in order to achieve a fresher taste and brighter appearance. The range of Rimmings are an array of ‘confections’ adapted for any drink you care to dunk a glass into.
