Edinburgh bar and restaurant operator Montpeliers has begun recruiting a "mini-army" of staff to man bars and cafTs during the festival period.
The festival`s organisers have employed Montpeliers to run the Spiegel Garden – an outdoor catering venue for festival-goers –†for the sixth time, and the company has until July 25 to recruit 100 staff to run the bar and serve food at the five-week event.
Karen Calvert, Area Business Manager at Montpeliers said: “With the Spiegel Garden operating throughout the festival, it will be busy, varied, lively and fun work – as well as providing an excellent way to perhaps securing future employment within the Montpeliers group’s eight venues throughout the city.”
A variety of part and full-time positions are available. Montpeliers is looking for staff with previous experience in waiting, bar-tendering and barista work who are available from July 25 to September 1. All successful applicants will be given training.
