Heinz Foodservice is challenging competitive chefs to create new and exciting dishes using their new range of cooking sauces, for the chance to compete live at the Hospitality Show in January.
Chefs have the choice of using any one of the Roasted Tomato and Herb, Hearty Ale and Onion, Zesty Lemon and Parsley, Creamy Mushroom and Classic Red Wine sauces to create a traditional British dish.
Emily Frank, brand manager for Heinz Foodservice, said; “Not only are we celebrating British produce, we are giving chefs the chance to experience the versatility of the new Heinz Ready to Use range, which paves the way for changing menus regularly and adding value to the eating out experience by ensuring consumer demand for variety is answered.”
Chefs will have to submit their recipe ideas by December 1 for judging by the British Culinary Federation and Salon Culinaire director Peter Griffiths. Just eight shortlisted entries will be invited to the Hospitality Show to compete in a live cook-off at the Salon Culinaire Live Theatre, where they will have just 30 minutes to create a two-cover meal.
The winner will receive £800 worth of Classic Leisure vouchers to spend with Classic British Hotels around the country.
