Richard Corrigan has officially opened his second Bentley`s Oyster Bar & Grill.
The restaurant - the first outpost for the original in London – opened in St Stephens Green, Dublin in the former Brownes Townhouse last week.
Also on site is the Aviator Lounge, open for afternoon tea, light snacks and drinks throughout the day, a private dining room and 10 bedrooms. It will be managed by the K-Club`s former Director of Hotel Services, Drew Flood.
Corrigan bought the 92-year-old Bentley’s Seafood Bar & Grill in Swallow Street, London when it was put on the market in 2005.
As with London, his Dublin restaurant will serve seasonal ingredients. Highlights of the current menu include Irish oysters, Shellfish Bisque with Brandy and Bentley’s signature fish pie with lobster, scallop, haddock and prawns.
