Armed forces push guests to their limit at Cavendish Hotel
Guests at the Cavendish Hotel are offered chance to train with armed forces as alternative to gym workouts

The Cavendish Hotel in Piccadilly is offering guests an alternative workout to their standard gym, through unique, environmentally friendly fitness sessions from British Military Fitness.

In its on-going drive to reduce its impact on the environment, the Cavendish has teamed up with BMF to offer guests the chance to train with armed forces physical training instructors in parks around London.

Guests will not need any equipment, and as the motivational classes are designed to cater for all levels of physical ability, all Cavendish guests can join in. The instructors make use of all nature has to offer, making sure guests take in the best of London’s great outdoors in spots such as Hampstead Heath, Wimbledon Common, Richmond Park and more locally, Hyde Park.

Named as the Considerate Hotel of the Year in 2007, the four-star hotel has worked to lower its carbon footprint through lowering water wastage, sourcing local and organic produce where possible, recycling, and using energy efficient lifts.

Ciaran Fahy, General Manager at The Cavendish said: “We joined Considerate Hoteliers two years ago as our first commitment to being more responsible in how we operated our business. All the changes we implemented are aligned to our overall business objectives and have reduced our operating costs with little investment, other than management time to implement the new processes.”

All classes will be complimentary for Cavendish guests, in a bid to encourage them to make use of the great outdoors.
