Bladen Foodservice has launched an American favourite to join its already large selection of quality cheeses, the Monterey Jack, and the Anglo-American Monterey Jack and Red Leicester Blend.
The white, mild and buttery Monterey Jack is a popular choice in the States as a topping for burgers, nachos and spicy enchiladas due in part to its great melting properties.
“As part of the Bladen Foodservice range, Monterey Jack is the perfect addition to our selection of catering cheeses,” said Andrew Lawrence, Bladen Brand Manager. “A great ingredient to work with, it melts easily and is incredibly versatile as its mellowness perfectly compliments spicy foods especially Tex-Mex and South-West American dishes.”
The Monterey Jack and Red Leicester Blend adds colour and richness to dishes such as jacket potatoes, salads and sandwiches, as well as a touch more flavour for cheese-lovers.
Both products are available in 1kg grated packs, and join Bladen’s range of award winning cheeses, butters and spreads.
