Hospitality businesses scooped three awards at the National Customer Service Awards this month, beating off competition from a variety of other sectors.
The awards were held this week at the Grosvenor Hotel in London to recognise the achievements of British businesses’ dedication to providing first class customer service.
Dorset bar, restaurant and inn the True Lovers Knot was awarded the SOCAP Award for Innovation in Customer Service over rival MacDonald Hotels and Resorts, budget holiday park operator Butlins received the Customer Service Training Team of the Year award, while Peach Pub Company was named as the Customer Service Team of the Year in Retail.
Hamish Stoddart, Co-Founder of Peach said: “This is an awesome award to have won for our consistent high service and the lengths every single member of our team goes to, to deliver high standards in their pubs.
“We’ve started rewarding those heroic moments when someone does something extraordinary to delight their customers and we share great examples across our business. We also spend a lot of time asking our customers how we can make our service even better, and act on what they say. It’s fantastic to have had those steps – and the impact they’re having on our business - officially recognised.”
