Le Frog Bistro goes into administration

The owners of the French bistro chain based in the North West, is placed into administration

The company operating the Le Frog Bistro chain in the North West has become the latest victim of the credit crunch and has been put into administration. 

Administrators Begbies Traynor were called in to take over Le Frog owner Wolfteam Limited,  yesterday. 

The company`s five sites - in Ormskirk, Preston, St Helens, Wigan and Warrington - are understood to have been put on the market with agents Christie & Co. 

The chain, whose ethos was to serve "Great British food with a French accent" had recently introduced a new ? la carte menu and a fixed price Bon Appetit menu offering customers two courses for £10 every evening and until 7pm on Saturdays.
