Edgcumbe sets up a training centre to teach hotel and restaurant staff the best ways to serve hot drinks and launches a range of individually branded products for retail

West Sussex tea and coffee merchant Edgcumbe has set up a training centre at its new offices to teach hotel and restaurant staff the best ways to serve hot drinks.

The company, which has supplied tea and coffee to hospitality businesses in the area for the past 25 years, will be able to give expert barista training to its clients from the new site in Ford.

Managing Director Alice Rendle said: “We are delighted that we are now able to show clients machines and new techniques that will help them save money and drive revenue into their establishments. It also enables us to deliver quality training to new members of staff, without interrupting their business.”

Edgcumbe has also launched a range of teas and coffees that can be branded with a hotel or restaurant’s own logo that they can sell to customers.
