Swedish dark lager has Godly powers
Swedish brewery Nils Oscar’s best-selling God Lager is now available to the UK on and off-trades

Swedish brewery Nils Oscar have launched their best-selling pilsner-style beer to the UK on and off-trades, with a name sure to entice punters to give it a try.

God Lager, actually meaning ‘good’ in Swedish, is brewed from grain to glass in the Nils Oscar Micro-brewery in Sweden. Using dark malt from the brewery malthouse, made from grain grown on the premises, plus four different hops, Nils Oscar ensure they have complete control over the brewing process of their best-seller.

Nils Oscar boasts its status as the only North European brewery to have secured a Gold, Silver and Bronze medal in the World Beer Cup, as well as its haul of 50 awards won in just 10 years.

God Lager itself has won many awards back in Scandinavia, and with its dark heavy aroma, sweet, malty taste and hoppy finish, Nils Oscar hope to repeat the dark lager’s performance here in the UK. It is now available in 330ml bottles, along with branded glassware and POS.
