Chefs wanted for professional MasterChef
The BBC is on the look out for professional chefs to star in the second series of MasterChef: The Professionals

The second series of Masterchef: The Professionals is on the look out for up and coming young chefs.

The programme, slated for BBC2 early next year, will be hosted by Gregg Wallace and Michel Roux Jr.

The format will be similar to the amateur version of the show and aims to “find a culinary genius in the making by testing skill, commitment and ability to cook at the highest end of the culinary spectrum”.

You must be aged 20 or above on February 1 2009, be a resident of the UK and have at least two years` experience in a professional kitchen and/or have the necessary qualifications, NVQ level 3, or 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent. In Ireland, hopefuls must have the NTCB Certificate in Professional Cookery.
