Operator needed for Tower Bridge boutique hotel
A former school building near London’s Tower Bridge has gone on the market with the potential to be turned into a boutique hotel

The property in London’s Tooley Street was home to St Olave’s Grammar School until the 1960s and now the Grade II listed building (pictured, right) is to be developed into a 55-bedroom hotel.

Agents Christie & Co have been appointed by Berkeley Homes to find an operator for the building which sits within the Potters Fields mixed-use scheme.

The property is being marketed with planning consent to be developed into a 55-bedroom boutique hotel with the chance for an operator to choose the interior to their own personal vision.

Christie & Co director Jon Patrick said: “It provides a truly outstanding opportunity that’s ideal for the boutique hotel market. It will also allow the successful operator to take advantage of the benefits of trading near the vibrant, cultural; and commercial centre that is More London.”
