The former site of Planet Hollywood in London’s West End has been put on the market for an undisclosed sum.
The landmark property at the corner of Coventry Street and Rupert Street is surrounded by international flagship tourist destinations, and would suit a business with a similar status.
Ted Schama of Shelley Sandzer, the joint agents instructed by Criterion Capital to market the property, said: “This landmark property provides and opportunity for an International flagship, with the rare and valuable benefit of late night licensing until 3am, with substantial capacity. We have already had contact from International operators from the United States, India, Europe and the UK.”
Planet Hollywood recently closed its doors at the Trocadero in London after 16 years service, but will reopen at their new site in the Haymarket in April 2009.
