Knorr Scottish Chef of the Year finalists announced

The names of the 10 finalists in the Knorr Scottish Chef of the Year competition have been announced following the semi finals last week

 

Brian Canale of Heritage Portfolio, Jonathan Greer of Murrayshall House Hotel, Darren Harrison of Loch Lomond Golf Club, David Littlewood of Milton at Crathes, Andrew May of Kinloch House Hotel, Dougal MacPherson of Lochgreen House Hotel, David Ward of Prestige Scotland, Robbie Robertson of ESS Compass Group, Alex Thain of Cameron House Hotel and  Trevor Williams of Burts Hotel will compete for the title at the final at the SECC in Glasgow next month. 

The final will take place at the Scottish hospitality trade show ScotHot 2009​ from March 2 to 4 where finalists will be asked to create a four-course menu for four made from a mystery basket of ingredients. 

One winner will receive £1,500 with two runners up each receiving £500. All remaining finalists will receive £100 and a celebratory diploma at the Scottish Culinary Awards Dinner on March 4.
