Nescafe urges industry to Go Large
Instant coffee brand Nescafe has created a larger style pack for the foodservice market to meet demand for larger servings

Coffee producer Nestle has produced a promotional Nescafe pack for foodservice operators to encourage their customers to Go Large.

Research by Nestle Professional has shown that 50 per cent of customers who frequently order a regular-sized drink could be persuaded to upgrade to a bigger cup size while 18 per cent are already opting for it.

With almost a quarter of those customers who choose a bigger cup expecting to pay more - †perceiving it as more value for money - Nescafe says there is profit to be made by hot beverage providers by simply ‘going large’.

Martin Lines, Nestle Professional marketing director, said: "To show our commitment to our customers and demonstrate ‘shared value’, we have developed a profit-generating promotional package, `Nescafe Go Large`, which is the perfect package for catering customers considering the promotion. This is a win-win opportunity for catering managers and owners: Offer the larger size, charge up to 30p more and enjoy a margin uplift without the need for further investment.”

The Nescafe Go Large pack contains two 750g Nescafe Original tins, four 16 fl oz Nescafe branded mugs, an A3 poster to encourage customers at the point of purchase, a profit calculator and a perfect serve scoop.
