The charity dinner, to be held at London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square on 18 May, will see seven renowned chefs with a hoard of Michelin stars between them cook six courses for 300 guests and celebrity VIPs.
As well as Atherton, the seven chefs enlisted to cater for the evening are: Nigel Haworth, of Northcote Manor, Lancashire; Chris Horridge, of Cliveden House, Berkshire; Tom Kitchin, The Kitchin, Edinburgh; Danny Millar, Balloo House, Killinchy, NI; Glynn Purnell, Purnell’s, Birmingham, and Stephen Terry, The Hardwick, Abergavenny, Wales.
Tickets for the event are £120, and include champagne, dinner and wine. All profits from the evening will be donated to Hospitality Action along with funds raised from a live auction where bidders can win the services of one of the chefs to cook in their home.
