Great British Menu chefs cook for charity
The finalists of BBC 2’s Great British Menu will be led by Jason Atherton to cook a six-course charity dinner in aid of Hospitality Action

Jason Atherton, head chef of Maze​ in London is to lead the line-up of BBC 2’s Great British Menu finalists as they cook a six-course dinner in aid of Hospitality Action​.

The charity dinner, to be held at London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square on 18 May, will see seven renowned chefs with a hoard of Michelin stars between them cook six courses for 300 guests and celebrity VIPs.

As well as Atherton, the seven chefs enlisted to cater for the evening are: Nigel Haworth, of Northcote Manor​, Lancashire; Chris Horridge, of Cliveden House​, Berkshire; Tom Kitchin, The Kitchin​, Edinburgh; Danny Millar, Balloo House​, Killinchy, NI; Glynn Purnell, Purnell’s​, Birmingham, and Stephen Terry, The Hardwick​, Abergavenny, Wales.

Tickets for the event are £120, and include champagne, dinner and wine. All profits from the evening will be donated to Hospitality Action along with funds raised from a live auction where bidders can win the services of one of the chefs to cook in their home.
