The Hotel Inspector recruits new head chef
Hotel Inspector Ruth Watson has appointed former Chapter One head chef David Williams head chef at The Trinity restaurant at the Crown & Castle hotel in Suffolk.
The 36-year-old chef who has also worked at Alimentum in Cambridge and Greywalls in Gullane, was recruited by Watson, co-proprietor of the hotel in Orford and presenter of the Channel 5 series.
Williams takes on the role six months after the death of former head chef Max Dougal, who was killed in a road accident.
He will be in charge of the kitchen and staff training and plans to retain the restaurant`s `honesty and integrity of style that has proved so popular with both customers and critics`.
Business caterer Flying Chef has also promoted employee Greg Ciemiega from sous to head chef. In his new role Ciemiega will be responsible for a team of chefs, food safety and kitchen administration.
