Linden Foods has launched a new gourmet steak burger with a ‘hand-made appearance’ after noticing a ‘growing customer trend for top quality burger offerings.’
The St. George’s Gourmet Steak Burger has been designed with ‘superior taste, texture and flavour’ in mind, and bears the EBLEX Quality Standard Mark to show true provenance, a factor becoming increasingly important to diners.
Mike Whittemore, EBLEX retail project manager, said: “Provenance and quality is very much at the forefront of consumers’ minds, not just in the retail sector but also when eating out. When it comes to premium dishes customers expectations are high, so by choosing a burger which uses Quality Standard beef, chefs can provide customers with the assurances they seek, as well as build confidence in their establishment and reputation.”
The St. George is made from prime Quality Standard beef and blended in a way to give a hand-made appearance, although it consistently retains its size, thickness and texture. Presenting the ‘Best of British’ beef, the gourmet burger is an ideal addition to a spring St. George’s Day menu (23 April).
