Hillbrooke Hotels adds to portfolio
`Quirky` luxury boutique hotel chain Hillbrooke Hotels has added a fourth property to its portfolio.
The company has just re-opened the 25-bedroom Master Builder`s House Hotel in Buckler`s Hard in the New Forest following a six month refurbishment.
Once the home of Master Shipbuilder Henry Adams, the leasehold to the 18th century building was bought by Hillbrooke through Christie & Co late last year.
The refurbishment included the updating of a 40-cover bar and restaurant and a function suite with capacity for 25.
Ed Bellfield, director at Christie & Co, said: “This is a well known landmark hotel that has been rejuvenated by the new owners providing individual accommodation within an idyllic location. It will fit perfectly into Hillbrooke Hotels’ impressive portfolio of boutique hotels.”
Hillbrooke, founded and run by Christoph Brooke, also operates the New Inn in Coln St Aldwyns, Gloucestershire; the Bath Arms in Longleat, Wiltshire; and the Elephant in Pangbourne, Berkshire.
